We LOVE You & There's NOTHING You Can Do About It!
Our Bishop
Bishop Elbert C. Davis

...was born on September 19, 1952 in Camden, NJ to the late Harrison and Mildred Davis. He was educated in the Worcester County school system, graduating from Worcester High School in 1970. He continued his education by attending the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he majored in Building Construction. He is a skilled carpenter, builder, and owner of Davis Home Improvements.

Bishop Davis received a lot of his Christian education at his home church, Mount Wesley United Methodist Church in Snow Hill, MD. In 1990, Bishop Davis received a Local Ministry Certificate. In 1991-1992, he became a Certified Lay Speaker. He worked hard in many other areas of the church, including Church Lay Leader, working closely with his Pastor, the Reverend Thomas Fitchett.

Later, Bishop Davis was led by God to St. Matthews Baptist Church in Bishopville, MD. On April 11, 1999, he was ordained and later became the Assistant Pastor for eight years, under the leadership of Pastor Louise Williams. While there, God began speaking to him concerning Pastoring and gave him the name of the church. After praying and seeking God, Bishop Davis was led to start pastoring and in June 2006, Free Indeed Baptist Ministries, Inc. was founded in Snow Hill, MD.
In 2008, Bishop Davis attended Faith Bible Institute, receiving a certificate in "Growing Towards Spiritual Maturity." Since the ministry has been established, many souls have been saved, healed, and delivered. On May 16, 2009, International Covenant Ministries, Inc. consecrated Elbert to the office of Bishop.

Bishop Davis is married to the former Vanessa R. Mills and they are the parents of four children: Shelly, Shawn, Telicia, and Ashley, as well as, nine grandchildren.

Bishop Davis has allowed God to use him GREATLY. He started his ministry with only six members and now the ministry has grown to over 140 members. LOOK AT GOD! He not only preaches God's word, but he lives by the word! Bishop Davis is a true man of God.

The motto of his life is: If I can help somebody as I travel along the way, then my living shall not be in vain. One of his favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"
